Default I got my Full Tilt check withdrawal today ...

FTP check requested: 2/24
FTP check approved: 2/25
FTP check cut & postmarked: 2/27
FTP check received via USPS & cashed: 2/28

Very fast if you ask me.

It was a check in the name of some company drawn on a major bank.

I paid the $5 fee and went to that bank directly and got the cash, because I did not want to get some weird hold on it, which might cause a problem if they have to switch accounts due to the Gestapo.

Cliff notes: FTP is not rigged against check withdrawals.

Great news BigBiceps. I just requested a large check 2 minutes ago, so I'll keep the status updated on here. Hopefully it goes just as smoothly as you.

*sigh of relief*

Great news.

Strange that they start with the new requests. I wonder why the folks waiting since January weren't done first.

That's not what the people who have been waiting for over a month are saying.

FTPDoug/Sean,

Where are the checks that were requested over a month ago?

I probably going to join FT soon, to me, they seem to be a lot better than playing at PS, better bonus, rakeback, fast check withdrawal, and so on.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I was trying to track down specifics.

Looks like this is what happened. We sent all pending checks as a single batch to our processor. This batch was split up into several parts and each part was processed on different days (not necessarily from oldest to most recent requests). Unfortunately, combined with a player's proximity to where they are mailed from, there probably won't be much correlation between when you requested your withdrawal to when you get it.

This would ONLY apply to this initial ramping up period where we sent a very large batch of checks to be processed at once. Things should be normal by the end of next week where the date of your approved cashout will directly relate to delivery times (based on delivery method of course).

My apologies to those who have been waiting longer than others. You weren't skipped. Can we chalk it up to variance? I assure you this wasn't our intention.

Because of this first large batch, checks approved this week might take an extra day or two as well.

One other note, we've slightly changed our check policy to the following:

[ QUOTE ]
You may request a check withdrawal once per 24 hours and up to twice every 7 days. Checks can be requested for withdrawals between $150 and $5,000.

Checks typically take 1 to 3 business days to process plus delivery time. Checks are delivered by regular mail and generally take 3 to 7 business days to arrive. Delivery times to destinations outside the Continental United States will vary. You may also request overnight delivery for an extra charge of $25. This charge will be deducted from your FTP account; please do not include it in your requested withdrawal and ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the charge. Check withdrawals between $2,500 and $5,000 will be sent overnight free of charge. Please note, you must have a phone number on file to receive overnight delivery.

[/ QUOTE ]

In essence, you can still do $10,000 a week, just in two separate transactions. If you've been approved for a withdrawal already, you don't need to do anything. We'll take care of it. Withdrawals from this point on will need to adhere to this new policy.

Sean
