Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
No reads on villian. I was thinking it was a board many people float on and that after jamming he'd be hard pressed to call with anything marginal. Also his overbet didn't seem like a monster and I have equity when I get called by a set or a straight.

Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
I wouldn't assume villain is floating if you have no reads unless you have a LAG image especially because:
1) you raised UTG - which some players interpret as bigger hands (read: overpairs). 2) Given one, he still bet full pot, essentially commiting himself to the pot if he had any sort of hand In the heat of the moment, I prob call the turn bet as you backed into a nice combo draw. If you stack him if you hit most of the time its prob about neutral EV. |

Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
Normally this is "nh", but with his shortstack and his overbet, he's never folding and you're never ahead.
So just c/f. Sucks, but that's how it goes sometimes. And betting turn sucks because you're never ever getting called by worse. |

The overbet made me more inclined to do it, guess I play bad. |

I b/f the turn [/ QUOTE ] Why? We don't have A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] here, we have a huge [censored] draw when we are behind. B/f is terrible imo. |

I b/f the turn [/ QUOTE ] This seems really bad. Villian only has ~60 BB to start the hand so we are def priced in to call a shove we bet. I suck in spots like this too, so I dunno what the best line is here. With villian's stack size, I think we can only b/c or crai (I guess we can c/c if he bets an obsurdly small amount). Any merit to c/c vs a villian who starts the hand with 200BB? |
