Probably raise a little less pre, but with an overpair and 2x pot on the flop, you're going broke.

Yea when I raise I make it like 1k straight pf.
I wouldn't call your flop bet a Cbet, and I'm paying him off with these stacks if beat. |

Re: FTOPS #1: TT vs villian pf limp/call my raise ... rag flop
you'd better call the raise all in
raise a little less PF, don't be lazy and just use the "pot" button because it's there you very often have villain drawing to 6 outs, imo |

Villain almost always raises on this flop. You obviously have high cards and missed. Extremely easy call.
Preflop is obviously "bet pot" button, but I am not sure what is wrong with it. 4xBB is more standard, but why not raise the limper more? |

It took me a bit too long to figure out what hands would leave Villian with 6 outs, but I finally got it. |

yeah a folds really bad after betting that much. standard stack off.

Re: FTOPS #1: TT vs villian pf limp/call my raise ... rag flop
Can someone explain why 4xBB is better than the 5x bet pot bet? Don't you want the limper to fold or put in more money? With the antes, is it a bad result to take this preflop?

[/ QUOTE ] Metagame: I never vary raise sizes with the strength of my hand preflop, unless stack sizes dictate something different. Hand specific: Both are big chunks of limper's stack, I don't think a good player is more likely to call 1K than the pot-sized raise. |
