Default ABC Poker

I am newbee to the poker world , and i am discovery some interesting things about.
There are hundred of books and info ands systems and ....
all that is in my reading list, aside all of the posts in this forum.
But i need a resume, to stick with the "good things".
so

how can you define """"GOOD POKER""" or ABC POKER?????
I mean the "correct way to play poker"

additionally,
whats are the thing/systems/shorcuts to avoid to get some type of "solid play"

Until now, i would said:
1 - Tight aggresive style
2 - Playing with the odds
3 - Play the guys , not only the cards.
4 - Banckroll 300BB at least

But i think there is so generally, so Y need your answer, to go deeply .

tnks regards.

paerdon?

Your asking what not to do?

Don't play with emotions, Get value for you premium hands, Don't chase unless you are given the odds. Understand who your up against, if you playing one table or whatever amount of tables you can play to understand what type of each player is. Take good notes, and have a poker tracker to find holes and strengths in your game.

I'll just drop this comment in there. Some guys are going to say not to play ABC poker as it's predictable, but I really feel that until you move up to the mid to high stakes, if you played exact ABC Poker you'd do far better than most of your competition.

I agree, and i assume buy mid stake you are talking about 5/10 limit and 3/6 nl up maybe a little higher. Trying to be to smart often back fires because the things you are trying to do wo't work on your av DONK

ABC poker is the way to go. It is predictable, but a new player starting off rarely makes sound decisions when deviating from say SSH, so imo, they should not even try. It is better to win or lose a little than lose a lot because one does not understand all the reasons they changed their play from the norm.

I would agree 100% with everyone that say ABC is the PROFITABLE way to play when you are new and at low limits. Also, what game are you focusing on? Limit Holdem', No Limit, Stud, Omaha? And yes, I would suggest picking a game and learning it before you try branching out. The game you choose will also determine the skill set that you need to focus on.
In another thread I suggested that a guy read Winning Low Limit Holdem by Lee Jones. This book catches a lot of flack on this site and I don't know why. It is a great primer for playing very solid low limit holdem. Add it to your required reading and I am sure that you won;t be sorry.
