AKo....to call or not to call...that is the question
I am new to table and have no reads on villain as of yet. I come accross hands like this a lot...Is this pretty much and auto-call anytime given that there is enough in the pot to justify calling vs. one-pair, over pair. I guess this hand is very read dependent.

Re: AKo....to call or not to call...that is the question
I'm not sure what others would say but I don't like it. You have outs to the 2nd nut flush but you'd probably have to discount those outs because he might already have the flush. I think we're about a 2:1 underdog and calling the all-in doesn't give you the odds for that.

Re: AKo....to call or not to call...that is the question
Raise more preflop and therefore larger c-bet and you have to call anyways. As played, meh. You beat Asx and that's about it. MAYBE Ax8x, K8. This may be a spot where getting raised is the worst thing imaginable, consider checking behind as there is no value in betting... only as a kind of mindless c-bet. Lots of cards improve you on turn and you probably have the best hand anyways, just no need to protect it IMO. Against an aggro opponent the turn should be a good spot to catch bluffs. In general I'd try to show this down without putting any more in the pot.
