Default I WANT TO CALL SOOOOOOOOOOO BAD

God I'm a total station. First hand at the table villain posts OOP, and calls my 5x UTG open; ergo, I give him 0 credit, and classify him as uberdonk until proven otherwise. Am I crazy for wanting to call here? I checked river, because no worse hands call (I think), but worse hands might bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

b/f turn

i'm kind of torn on river. this is right between "[censored] i bet too small on the turn and now i have to shove" and "no way is he strong enough to call this"

uberdonk doesn't tell me enough to judge his frequencies here. timing tells would help, though.

also, lol @ no worse hand will call river

I would bet turn to get value from draws and KQ and fold to a raise.

As played, I would fold river.

Yeah, I'm kind of angry at myself for not bet/folding the turn if it wasn't with the intention of snap calling a river. hmmmm

Timing wasn't instant instant, but it wasn't long at all. Probably took 3-5 seconds before he pushed.

If I c/c the turn I don't really like donking the river. I guess my assumption about "worse hands calling," is for the most part wrong as I usually v-bet super light. I guess he can call the flop, bet turn, and call river with a T, or QJ.

That's all folks I'm about to fade into oblivion.

I agree with b/f the turn. until I started watching some of the videos people were posting I too would post in behind the button.

This was a tendancy left over from playing full RG. So I would not be so quick to list him as donk for only that reason.

There is a strong case that he might have picked up a hand here as well, AJ/AQ/KQ type hands might call you 66 - TT/JJ might smooth call as well in position.

I think a call on the river would be pretty thin, but it is certainly tempting given that only the gut shot draws got there.

As played though I do feel that folding is your best route. If he is an uberdonk you will get it back.

fold. the only 2 hands we realisticlaly beat are missed clubs and king queen. granted, your line looks so so weak but you cannot make this call regardless.

There are better spots to get your money in against an unknown than top pair on a relatively wet board.

That said, your equity against a random hand is pretty good.

I fold and hope someone else doesn't break him before I see round two.

Lol @ 'I would not call him a donkey because by the transitive property of equality, that would make me a donkey, and I don't want to be a donkey' logic.
