A lot, a lot, a lot, a lot of people will advocate an instant call. Personally, I reraise to 300 or so to make a fold easier for me. You will meet up with AK a fair amount here, but KK/AA just as often. These guys are donks, but they get good hands. I fold this because I think I can get better than a coinflip, even with 1200 chips.
I think it's more a matter of style, but I fold. Calling here isn't *bad* though, and I'm sure a lot of people will tell you to instacall. |

Oxy - you're problem here is you're treating this likes there a zero after the buy-in line.
Its just a $16. This guy hold AK, KK or AA ...rarely ever in this spot. This isn't a coinflip. This is like a nearly garunteed 3:1 or more likely 4:1 (or higher sometimes) situation. Its almost garunteed the average/typical donk here has 77=QQ Sometimes some random suited holding, sometimes a decent ace and sometimes AK, and less often AA/KK QQ is the nutzoid here. |
