Re: River play vs. 50/30 LAG?
I might check the river as sort of a combination of either inducing a bluff or guarding against a hand like 44 or maybe a randome hand with a 4 like K4s. What's your plan against a raise?

Re: River play vs. 50/30 LAG?
I'd either bet/call or check/raise/call. Check/calling and bet/folding are both pretty bad IMO.

Re: River play vs. 50/30 LAG?
any idea what he limps with there?
It is, of course, hard to determine the best line on the river without some sort of post flop read. I like betting though, definitely calling a raise and would think about three betting with a good read. With him calling the turn he should have some piece of this board when the river is an ace so let's make sure a bet goes in. -WT |

I did a little more thinking about the hand (should have done this before I posted) and I think it's a pretty clear bet/call. I mean, the ace is sorta scare card (but he'd raise most aces preflop) and it's just hard to get a good read on a spazz like this. Best thing to do is just collect your value and see a showdown. btw, I think 3betting is a little much, as the only hands that raise and call a 3bet that i beat are worse two pair, and i have 7's up. so yeah. |
