I imagine that many people will tell you to fold third, and I'm not convinced that they're wrong. I wouldn't be jamming fifth. The aggressor likely has trips, meaning that your high outs aren't clean, and the other guy probably has a somewhat better low draw than you. Obviously, you have enough hand to keep playing, but I wouldn't be going nuts with this one.

I didn't want to bet because seat 2 is retarded and would just call if he had a low draw at which point the other idiot would call too. So my choice was to c/c and either go away or bet depending on what happens on 5th or to c/r. Villain is terrible and Ray Zee says one of the best way to procure the dollars in Stud 8 is by having a concealed high hand so I c/r and expect him to play poorly on following streets. Unfortunately I made the mistake of being right without taking into account that I have the 48 hour poker flu where you aren't allowed to win a single hand.

I agree about 5th street in the first hand though. At the time I was thinking he would fold a horrible low draw but then I realized how absurd that would be considering he just called a thousand bets with nothing. Folding 3rd in what is looking to be a 4 way pot with at most 1 low oriented hand would be pretty bad here I think. Especially when the 1 low oriented hand is held by someone that needs help wiping the drool from their face every few minutes.

Hand 1 I like your play on every street. Hand 2 I'd usually just call on 4th. Is this really a good c/r against his range? As it happened you outplayed him and he still got there. Thus is the game we torture ourselves with. Every poker poker book talks about winning but it is in losing and how we deal with it that is much more important.

Yeah I'm beginning to think I played hand 2 sorta retarded and should have just bet or c/c and done something on 5th, which is why I'm glad that I quit playing before I FPS myself into losing 50 more bets.

LOL Nice game selection. Those guys should be playing 3/6 instead of 30/60, at 3/6 they'd lose their money 10x slower. The sad thing is that the stud forum has to double as BBV b/c of all the stupid "they dealt out too many cards" jokes.

Seat 6 looked anything but expert in the first hand, at the least I'd make a note on him and more likely I'd sit on his left every chance I got.

This game was actually pretty tough compared to some I have played as only half the table was breathing through their mouth and drooling.

Seat 6 in hand 1 is a huge fish and any time he is playing the game is full.
