PS20/180 - ITM, help playing this hand

I was playing a 20/180 last night and was wondering how you would play the following hand. Blinds are 300/600/75. We are already in the money with 17 people left (9 on my table). I am BB w/7000 after posting BB and ante. I am one of the short stacks (prob around 15th place). UTG (t18,000) raises to 1800, folds around to a MP player (t43,000 - the large stack), who goes all-in. Folds back to me.

1. First question, what kind of hand would you play against this action?
2. Second question (related to first), what kind of hand ranges do you put these guys on?

Okay, hope you thought up the hand ranges, so I will now complete the story: I called the first all-in with AKs. UTG called the all-in with AQo and MP had JJ.

3. Third question: if you knew that large stack went all-in w/JJ would you still call with the AKs?

Now, with that out of the way...

1 and 2) I would want a big pocket pair or AK to call here. UTG has a pretty solid hand (assuming he's a good player), and the big stack pushed to isolate on him, signifying a fairly good but necessarily monster holding.

3) Yes, I would call. You're in a race situation with an overlay, and you need chips. Might as well try to get them now.

AKs vs JJ I would take the flip, but AKs vs JJ vs AQ is an easy fold (face up of course) given the action to you I probably fold my AK because I would put someone on a good PP (99-QQ) and someone on two high cards.

I'm not sure why this would be a fold in this spot if the cards are face up, it's clearly +cEV. Also, I wonder in spots like this, specifically in the 180s, if it's possible for a play to be slightly -cEV but +$EV (I know we talk about spots that work the other way all the time, especially in sats), because of the same payouts for 10-18 then the big jump for the final table. Wouldn't it make sense to really gamble it up in this spot to try and make a run at the real money? No clue if this thinking is correct, just something that seemed interesting to me.
