Default tough spot with aa 3/6

5 handed, co is 25/21, btn is 20/16 - both are solid players that like to 3-bet pre. bb is unknown, probable donk. eff stacks $600

hero has red AA utg makes it 24, everyone except sb calls.

4 to the flop ($96) Tc7s6c
bb checks, hero?

in the actual hand i checked, co checked and btn bet $75, bb folded.

I would check call 1 bet.

I know some like betting flop here but we are going to have trouble advancing if we face any more action than a call on the flop. I suppose a player could call with JT or AT but you have to figure if they are any good they know better than to do this when you are firing into a multiway pot.

c/f isn't bad in this spot at all; this nails a million peoples ranges who flatcall preflop. Even if you get a decent bit of money in ahead, you're probably flipping. Nice spot to avoid variance and c/f since its a multiway pot on drawy middle board.

I think the check is fine. I'm not folding to btn bet though. Apart from all the draws he could have, there's plenty of worse hands he will bet for value when he gets checked to here. So call and go from there I think.

My default would be to bomb the flop and then get super cautious if called. I would fold to most raises on the flop. Is that bad?
