This is +$EV. But can you gain more +$EV by playing it differently ?

I would like to here other opinions on this as I am not a fan of shoving > 10BB. Surely there is abetter way of extracting more +$EV.

Personally I raise t200-t250 and call a resteal. If called I open shove most flops unless there is 2 overcards on the flop. Then I puke close my eyes and stack off.

I felt like 1) 150 is a fairly large portion of my small stack, and 2) I didn't particularly want to see a flop.
Wrong in my thinking?

I do it from time to time but I just think you are losing tons of value from people who will get it in with any pair on the flop blind v blind.

I prefer a raise to maybe 150 or 200. If you get called with the all in surely you are at best racing, but on a low flop or perhaps one overcard you can bet it out and get more of the BB's money into the pot.

I'm making it 150 and probably not folding except on a very ugly flop.

Pot commits me to calling BB's shove. With this hand I am not folding but I do think that open shoving does miss value.

GKA if you raise t150 are u folding if BB shoves readless ??

IMO, by pushing here you turn your tens into 2s. I probably throw out a small raise or maybe go for a call preflop (pushing if raised).
