Most posts in a day ever.

I was wondering if this thread regarding yesterday's NFL draft set the 2+2 record for most posts in one day. I put the count at about 750.

I am estranged from my cousin, and couldn't celebrate the NFL Draft holiday like I normally would, and thought a thread with the 2+2 sport nuts would be the next best thing. And sipping 151, lest we forget that part.

It's probably pretty close between this and the huge ZeeJustin thread in MTTF.

The new party software in Jan or Feb got so many posts so fast that Mike Haven just closed each thread after 400 or so posts to start a new one.


I think that the Party/empire (and skins) split in Sept or whenever was getting about a zillion posts.
But these were spread out to about 15 different threads on 4 different forums (not unlike the whole WSEX hoopla).

Don't forget the censored myspace thread.

It hasa the most replies, but the posts per day were getting to be pretty high after the thread had been around for a week or two.

I know there have been many threads with 1k+ posts, I just thought that most of those were spread out over a couple weeks. What I found remarkable about this thread was that most of the posts were on the same day.
