One thing i've read some conflicting information on is rep speed.
Questions i'm left with: Do you change your rep speed depending on whether your bulking, cutting, or have a different goal in mind? How fast/slow is the down half of your rep? Anything else you want to tell me? Obviously answers will be somewhat dependent on what exercise you're talking about, so feel free to elaborate and enlighten me. Thanks, Bond |

I 2nd it nice to have Thremp back [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] Other tempo methods work well also. Its a tough question to ask because diffrent speeds work also. Like a 401 tempo which is 4 seconds lowering, no pause and 1 second up for example dumbell bicep curls. |

yea i read that article that you posted and found it interesting but anyone can make the science "make sense" like he did. I am all for the principle of specificity for sports training, but why do the majority of the people on this forum support fast reps for strength/hypertrophy if no researchers have produced studies on it? Mainly from advice from BBuilders or just from experience?
