Default DIDS PRESENTS: Bee Bee and Vee Theatre, Part DUEX

BEAT:

Thanks to being a [censored] with spending, an expensive dinner, and a new car that stretches things a little thin... I had 15 bucks to my name on Friday. Payday is on the 10th, so I'm kinda [censored]. Naturally, I did the smart thing and got the limit on one of my cards up by 2 grand. ROBUSTO. Still, I need cash 'cause my boy Spanaway Vin is hosting a Super Bowl/Poker thingy.

Then it hits me, I have a Crown Royale bag that I've been tossing change into for over a year. I figure that now's the time to look like a wino and take my sack of coins on down to the Coinstar ('cause why only pay rake in poker!!). I'm thinking about 40-60 bucks.

BRAG:

SHIP THE COINSTAR HOLLA @ 130 bucks. BOOM HEATSHOT. (119 after rake).

So that's nice.

So I take my massive winnings to the party.

SHIP THE ALMOST 9 BUYINS (at umm... NL10) HOLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAA.

NL poker is EZ especially when you are awesome. I am impossible to value bet, etc.

VARIANCE:

I made a nice bean/bacon dip and home made chips that nobody eat, and a salad that didn't turn out awesome and even less nobody ate. Godless [censored] that prefer doritos to my chips. They will all get heart attacks and die by 40 I am sure.

Screw your dip. I made glorious meatballs and awesome smoked salmon quesadillas that nobody touched. I had some for lunch today and verified that these were indeed glorious AND awesome.

In a complete upset, I don't think I managed to get a photo of these. I WILL; however, say what I did to make them. They were pretty straight-forward:

Chop some sweet mayans, some garlic, and orange bell pepper and sweat them in butter until they are pretty tender. Add salt and pepper.

Take a large tortilla (like, burrito-size) and brush oil (I used olive oil) on one whole side. Set it on a hot griddle or skillet.

Spoon some of the mixture above into half, but you don't want to go overboard.

Add some smoked salmon on top of that. I crumbled some store bought smoked salmon into a bowl to make it ready to use.

Add a sufficiently large amount of shredded cheese that will satisfy and/or not overdo your personal cheese preference.

Fold it over into a half circle and let it brown on the bottom side until it gets as brown and crispy and you like it. Flip it over and do the same to the other side.

Cut it into wedges and serve with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, etc.

See? Simple.
