Default VERY tricky hand.

Ok so im in my local casino playing a $2 $2 PL game with some of the biggest maniacs on earth.
Im in the Sb and after about 7 limps i check with 95clubs as does BB.

Pot: $16
Flop: Kc 4c 7d- i check mid position bets $10 and gets a calls so i call with odds and Bf B calls behind me.

Pot: $56

Turn: 9h - I check again and this time BB bets $35 he gets 1 call from mid pos raiser and im now getting about the right odds to hit 2pair trips or my flush - I call.

Pot: $171

River: 9d- I look with glee at my trips and decide to bet for value knowing only a fullhouse is beating me.
I bet $60 and the BB raiser pushes.... Another $200 or so to me I call after the other folded.

Results later but considering the maniacal field and situation was this rash, marginally profitable or correct?
Tx.

Fold pre-flop. You omitted the stack sizes of the remaining players. It is most likely that BB has a full house, 44, 77, K9 are possible hands for BB range. Betting so small on the river is a mistake. If you thought your hand was good to win, why bet so small on the river. Perhaps you thought of making a value bet on the river, if your small bet was a value bet and BB raised you, then you should have folded on the river.

Why not? Do you realize that games which are very loose and aggressive, many players will play AX suited and KX suited? So his plan of hitting a flush on the flop with a hand like 95 suited is a very bad idea. My two cents.

cant fold pre.

is BB the sort to bet a set straight out? (most live donks will try and trap)

K9 is def in his range, but so is K7, K4 - who knows, he might make a counterfeited 2pair tilt push.

This is really dependent on reads and history of BB villain.

These players are the definitions of loose maniacs.

The BB is a straight out maniac and im not in anyway exxagerating.
