Greatest Feelings

I'm working my way through the second season of Lost (hijack: how the eff do I always miss these great shows? I completely dismissed Lost until I just about ran out of things on my Netflix queue, so I didn't see a single episode until se01e01 came in the mail. Ditto Arrested Development. I still haven't seen an episode of The Sopranos or Deadwood). I get to the episode where Sun catches pregnant, and I found myself thinking, Man, if I was a single chick, the greatest feeling in the world would be being sure I was pregnant, then finding out I'm not. That would be like winning the lottery. I thought some more about unprotected sex, and while I've done it a few times, and was mildly worried, I never got the "I'm late" phone call, so I was never really relieved two weeks after the fact, or whatever.

I tried to think of what the single chick's equivalent of, "I'm not pregnant," would be for guys, and had some trouble thinking of common alternatives. A similar question I've heard is, "What is the most useful invention that is used by the least people," and a good answer to that is, "The tampon."

The thread: What are the events/situations that trigger the best feeling in you, akin to winning the lottery or dodging preggers when you really don't want a kid?

Sleeping when exhausted

i just dont feel like the shower is as good as the others there, while i guess its still nice. but i do agree all the others are very amazing.
