Default Flop str8 with a 3 to flush board against a fancy tag

6 handed 30/60
Villan is aggressive, prob 30% preflop and raising most of them, but seems to showdown some very quality hands, and can get fancy! I view him as a good player, he is on a hot streak and just won a monster pot with 77 that flopped a boat. (seems to be running over the table)

I am on the BB with J10s (hearts) (i love J10s). MP2 (villan) Rasies all fold to me, I call

Flop
89Q All Spades.

Hero Checks, Villan bets, Hero CR, hero 3 bets, villan 4 bets and hero calls cringing the entire time he puts the chips in

Turn- 6 D
Hero Checks, Villan checks (Christ sakes!)

River 4D
Hero bets, Villan raises (OMG!), Hero????
(I ended up calling, will post results later)

Please tear up all streets, i am wondering if....
Anyone 5 bets flop?
Anyone leads turn?
Anyone check calls river?
Anyone folds river?

Thanks.

I think flop and turn are fine, if you were planning on checkraising the turn (your comments seems to indicate, that maybe you were already scared of the flush at this point, which I think is giving him way too much respect).

River: Folding is out of the question. Calling is probably best. Either he played his flopped flush really bad and saved you some monies or this is a bluff with a missed flushdraw.

Wait a sec. Is this a live hand? I really don't know anything about live play, so if that's the case just disregard my post.

You need to rethink the flop play. If you c/r'ed the flop, you should have been the one to put in the 4th bet. So did he 3 bet and you call or did he 5 bet and you called? I'm confused and it changes the way the hand plays out.

River is an easy call, he's got JT there a bunch or some other wierdly played hand. You'll be ahead often enough when you call.

Its live, but i dont think it makes a huge difference at that point regarding the situation and am willing to listen to any advice on this hand.

OK, I'm fine with calling down then. Obviously you bet the river, and I can't imagine finding a fold here. If he is tricky enough to play a flopped flush like this, then he should be tricky enough to play a bluff like this as well.

As he tables his flush with a smug grin, you can think about the extra 0 BB villain got for his efforts.

I dont understand how you can possibly fold this river. If villain is dumb enough to 5 bet you on flop and check through flush WOW that is quite possibly the worst play ever. I'd lean toward 3 betting but his play is so strange that i just end up calling confused.
