Default [NL200] QJs turns oesd + flush draw

Villain in this hand was a nit, 14/7 or something like that over roughly 100 hands. What's your line for the turn?

(sorry for the messed up format; somebody please write a good iPoker converter )

Well I dunno about good, but you could try http://www.talking-poker.com/hands/converter.aspx

As for the hand i don't think you have any fold equity by leading against most nits ranges, there most likely to just reraise you all-in. I think I might actually go for a check-raise all-in on the turn. Most of the cards that complete your draws are scare cards and could kill your action. By check-raising you maximise fold equity as it's a very strong look bet, a nit might evan lay down two pair here.

A 14/7 nit never has top pair or two pair on this board and almost always has a set here. A nit is not cold calling T9, AT, KT etc that would give him top pair or top two, he's almost never cold-calilng suited connectors/gappers OOP and he's usually reraising pairs over TT. I would say in most cases vs a 14/7 nit you're still drawing live but you don't have fold equity to c/r all in on the turn against his range. You fold out all of his bluffs, which are pretty much all you beat, as well as a few hands you are ahead of and he snap calls with most hands that you're a dog to. Stacks are deep enough here that you can c/c the turn and c/f the river UI. He's not betting very big so you're still likely to get good odds to draw and hit one of your straight and flush outs.

The K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is the money card, obv.

Wouldnt semibluff here. A nit will have a set/top 2 here way too often. c/c is fine

Thanks for the advice. I bet the turn here, got check-raised and did not improve, so I had to fold.

When we check-call the turn here, is pushing a spade that does not pair the board any good?
