high stakes NLHE players playing PLO
why do all the highstakes NLHE players on full tilt play PLO at the same stakes as their NLHE games when they are not very good.
for example durrrr is kicking ass at NLHE over a considerable amount of hands, but has lost almost as much over the same amount of hands at PLO. also aba is not a winning PLO player at the highest stakes from all accounts. why????? is it just ego. wouldn't they move down a couple of levels and work at their game. or maybe the variance and the lower winrates of the players at the highest stakes mean that 50,000 hands isn't a big enough sample size |

Re: high stakes NLHE players playing PLO
Because when you play 300/600 NLHE headsup regularly and there are no games running at PLO running except for 25/50 and 200/400, you have to play 200/400 to make you care.
I'd certainly love to take a shot at the big PLO games. |

lol@taking a shot at PLO on ftp.....ftp is rigged and you will lose it all to Gus Hansen; this is common knowledge.

Re: high stakes NLHE players playing PLO
I thought it was because if they don't play Hansen/Benyamine in PLO, then Hansen and Benyamine won't give them action in Durr's and Aba's best game.

Re: high stakes NLHE players playing PLO
cause PLO is the only game where moving up in stakes doesnt necessarily mean the players get better.
