Default 20/40 6-max, Ace-high

20/40 online, 6-max, currently 5 handed.

LAG that I've played a ton with opens on the button, SB folds and I three-bet w/A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], button calls.

FLOP: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet, button calls.

TURN: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet, he raises, I think for a bit and call.

How am I doing so far and what is your plan for the river?

I like so far (though i'll call pf in many instances).

I'd probably c-c most rivers except an A, which i would bet.

Lags love to bluff at boards like these, usually on the turn, so if I want to showdown, I will usually c/c turn and river saving myself a bet from the inevitable turn raise.

the c/r would only make sense if he was "bluffing" yet would still be able to call you with king hi or a worse ace hi

I think this guy will bet an ace on the river for you a pretty high percentage of the time.

That feels like just a little bit too much to me. I don't know that he has enough second best hands to call the check-raise.

Do the paired hands you fold out make up for it? Not sure I like the river c/r either, but everyone's only commenting on the unlikelihood of getting called by worse hands. No one has mentioned folding out small pairs.
