NL50 - TPTK in SB vs BB 4-Bet Pot
Bodog NL50, 9 players. 100BB effective stacks. No reads.
Folded to Hero in SB w/A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero raises to $1.75 Villian in BB raises to $5 Hero raises to $15 Villain calls Flop ($30) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero? I'm not folding at this point, so if villain has AA/99/88 I'm going broke no matter what so my line seems irrelevant. Assuming villain has a big pair other than aces, how do I extract? Alternatively, is there value in shoving here to rep AA and get AK to fold? Preflop standard? Thanks. |

Re: NL50 - TPTK in SB vs BB 4-Bet Pot
Bet something weird like $11... if he calls, its out of curiosity and you can put him on KK/QQ/JJ/AQ. Then check the turn and after he checks through vbet the river with something else weak and half-pottish.
If you check the flop and he checks through and goes nuts on the turn you're going to twist yourself in knots. Obv if he raises the flop you're arrr in. |
