$50 nl AA facing big flop re-raise
Small Blind is 20/10/3 over 150 hands. His stats are a little misleading because he folded his first 20 hands or so, then played more aggressively since. He's straight forward & not a bad player.
I'm playing 28/16/3.5, TAG in early position & LAGish in late position & in the blinds. I'm also taking a lot of stabs at flops & then laying down to re-raises without hands/draws. Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) BB ($59.90) UTG ($50) MP ($10) Hero ($167.85) Button ($60.85) SB ($89.05) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, SB calls $1.50, 1 fold. Flop: ($4) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets $3.5, Hero raises to $10, SB raises to $48.5, Hero ??? My reads: The SB has to have some sort of hand to defend & then bet. Maybe 99-JJ. Think he would re-raise preflop with KK,QQ. Could have big suited connecter & be on heart draw. Could put me on a steal & be aggressively defending. Did not want to call, felt push or fold. Thoughts? |

Re: $50 nl AA facing big flop re-raise
Against someone with taggy stats this looks like a set very often fwiw. Once in a while its a combo draw. Its not an overpair, hes 3 betting JJ+ pf. I fold here.
