LC: ROI in a winner take all format
I did a search for -"Re:" +"ROI" but didn't find an answer.
Compared to a normal 50/30/20 prize structure SNGs what sort of ROI would you expect to get in a winner take all format? Would it be higher or lower or roughly the same? |

Re: LC: ROI in a winner take all format
I think it depends on how the others play, but perhaps more importantly, how you play. If you are an mtt guy then your roi might be higher in these than sngs, since that's basically what they are. If you are used to sng play but adjust you'll do slightly better/worse depending on whether people adjust as well, sometimes people take a survivalist standard sng strategy into these which makes them pretty big underdogs imo. The only problem is that a lot of the edge in sngs if you are good comes from icm and bubble exploitation which don't apply here. All in all I think it's a wash that kind of depends on your style.

Re: LC: ROI in a winner take all format
I'd say cash players with lots of deep stack experience would fare rather well in this format. It plays identical to a cash game.
