Tell me about the Bellagio 5-Diamond
I am going to be in town and was thinking of playing one of the $2k buy-in events, but I have some questions.
What is the structure like? I assume it's pretty slow. Does anyone know the blind schedule, how long the rounds are, or how many starting chips you get? What is the competition like? I've played three $1.5-$2K tourneys at the WSOP. How does this compare? Thanks. |

Structure is therefore very similar to WSOP prelims. I played most of the prelims at the Five Star this April, IMO the competition is the best you'll face all year for a given buy-in level. There's definitely a lot more dead money in the WSOP prelim events. If you look at the results from last year's Five Diamond, in addition to seeing ZeeJustin at virtually every final table, you'll see final tables filled with top players in every event. |
