I think I butchered this hand (KQo)... NL100
Villain is 25/11/4.5, pretty standard passiveish player. FWIW River AF is 5.5.
Effective stacks 65BB Hero dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain raises to $4.5 on button, Hero calls from SB Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($11) Hero checks, Villain bets $8, Hero calls. Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($27) Hero bets $14.50, villain calls. River: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($56) Hero checks, Villain is all -in for $37.25, Hero folds. OK - all in all I think this was played terribly. What should we be doing on the turn here? In retrospect I think my weak lead is useless. As played can we call this shove on river and expect to win a decent % of the time? |

Re: I think I butchered this hand (KQo)... NL100
I like betting out on the flop here or check-raising because it makes it easier to play out the hand OOP and see where you're at.
As played I fold the river. |

I think c/c the flop is ok. c/f turn, c/f river. Unless you have a read that he is bluffy, I think most villians will shut down on the turn/river on this type of baord (without a hand)
