Re: whats a big bet in a NL game?
BB= Big Blind not big bet. Besides I don't know a single solid player that would keep playing N/L if they only made one big blind per hour. The BB per hour guideline is for limit games only.

Re: whats a big bet in a NL game?
And it's more like 2BB/hour (and for limit, BB=Big Bet = twice big blind usually)
(Sorry to be clear, this is for limit games, and typically it's pre-rake) |

Re: whats a big bet in a NL game?
Ptbb= Poker Tracker big bets
BB= Big blind 1 big bet = 2 big blinds or 1 ptbb = 2bb In limit hold em , a desirable win-rate to have is 2 big blinds per hour but this is subject to change depending on the table size/stakes . Or , some may beat the game at 1 ptbb/hour which is exactly the same thing . In Nl , you may beat the game at 10ptbb/100 hands(NL25) or 20 big blinds/100 hands and something like 5-6ptbb/100 hands at the higher levels . |

Re: whats a big bet in a NL game?
Nah, LHE a good rate is 2 big bets per hour - and a 5/10 limit game means 10=big bet, not big blind (NL games are specified by blind sizes instead)

Re: whats a big bet in a NL game?
Maybe that's true at bigger games but lots and lots of limit players manage to eke out 2BB/100 (now, that's pre-rake. At 1/2 or 2/4 rake is 1BB/100 or sometimes more)
