NL100 - bottom 2pair, coordinated board, facing bet/shove, raised pot
Villain in this hand is 32/14/4 over 260 hands. No notes. Although recently on another table, he got all in preflop w/ AQs for 100bbs, granted, it was button vs bb steal situation vs an even bigger donk.
Is this totally standard to be getting it in here? He has pair+fd often enough? Sometimes even just a lone J? One of those situations, where its easy for him to put me on a FD and stack off w/ a weak hand and where I can put him on a FD and stack off w/ a semi decent hand. Or do I just not know when to find folds. Did my flop raise size commit me to the pot? Sorry if this is standard. We really have to be waiting his range to just naked FD's and just non FD pair of Js to make this call? |

Once you raise you are committed.

Once you raise you are committed. [/ QUOTE ] Would you ever advocate just flatting this flop? |

[/ QUOTE ] agree. You have blockers vs. the only sets he can have. Also, 2 pair is pretty unlikely. I guess he can have a straight, but you still have outs and he doesn't always have one. Some type of combo draw is definitely his most likely hand here. |

This is fine. Villain rarely has you beat here. It's 9T, J8s or you win.
