11$: Finish distribution - a lot of 5th places
I started playing 11$ speeds about a month ago (used to play regulars). Tonight I took a look at my finish distribution, and want your oppinions on it.
The 5th place finish obviously caught my eye. Is this pretty normal for players, that rely heavily on exploiting the bubble? Your thoughts on the rest of the graph? I realize 415 sng's is not a big sample size, but I want to improve, and if something sticks out here, I want to pay attention to it, so I can get better. |

Re: 11$: Finish distribution - a lot of 5th places
For me, 9-handed, 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th stand out above the rest. I dunno why 6th stand out so much for you, but I think busting out a lot on 5-6th and to some extent 4th and 7th makes a lot of sense, as we are very seldom busting very early.

Re: 11$: Finish distribution - a lot of 5th places
I've heard several things about this from good players, none of which i can verify, except that i've heard them.
good players should have more 1sts and 3rds than seconds (from being very aggro 3handed) good players should have relatively lower 4ths than 3rds or 5ths (indicates being more catious on the bubble, not calling raises, not pushing into those likely to call you) Anyone who is better than me care to comment on these two ideas? |

They're fairly obvious.

They're fairly obvious. [/ QUOTE ] Same with the busting out 5th/6th idea. Common sense IMO. Maybe a bit of variance in this case too. Nice chart donkcraft. |
