KK in 4-bet pot
Let's say we are playing nl400.
Our image is laggy and we open in a 6handed game for 14$ from the cutoff. Everbody folds insteed of the BB who 3-bets us to 48$. We hold K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 4-bet to 125$. Villian seems to be a solid player and the effectiv stack is 400$. He calls and the flop comes: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (252$) BB checks, Heros plan is? |

Re: KK in 4-bet pot
Check, and try to show down as cheap as possible IMO, and I'd value bet the river if he checks all 3 streets, assuming the board doesn't get too crazy.

Re: KK in 4-bet pot
i'd be more likely to call a river bet by him than a turn bet and VB the river myself if it comes to that.

Re: KK in 4-bet pot
Seriously, once you 4-bet preflop, I don't see how you can really fold this. Do you really think he is flatting a 4-bet preflop with AQ or AJ?
I think your best bet is to check flop, and call turn or river shove. I don't see how we can fold here ever, unless we have a strong read that villain is a nit. |

Re: KK in 4-bet pot
so hero checked the flop behind
1.1) Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (252$) BB checks, Hero? a) Hero checks behind b) Hero bets 125$-150$ (would be my choice i think) 1.2) Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (252$) BB bet 150$, Hero? 2.1) Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (252$) BB checks, Hero? a) Hero checks behind b) Hero bets 125$-150$ (also b/f ?) 2.2) Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (252$) BB bet 150$, Hero? i guess if it's checked to us on the turn and we bet it's b/f so the river action should be clear (?) however if we decide to check behind and villian leads 175$ what kind of rivers would you call? I guess the only card we want to see on the river is a K or a A :P if it's checked a third time to us than just vb 1/2-2/3 ps you agree? |
