AA hand vs whale deep. turn pairs the board.
He is 58/7/1. Doesn't like folding post either. Doesn't seem to be too aggressive.

I prefer 650/call turn vs this guy.

Re: AA hand vs whale deep. turn pairs the board.
Meh, even though you hold the Ah I think there are too many draws on this board that you're missing value from by checking. With a PFR of 7 there are very few hands he's opening with that contain a ten, just go to valuetown on the turn.

One nice thing about this line is that you're much more likely to get two streets of value from a queen.

based on board and reads, this seems like an obv turn bet
and 150 deep we are trying to put all the chips in the middle on this board vs this player imo |

Re: AA hand vs whale deep. turn pairs the board.
I prefer a bet on the turn: you have to protect your hand from his draws: if hes calling 58% of the time preflop, its probably because he likes making big hands, and if hes that type of player, hes apt to stay in with a lot of draws
hes also more likely to have a T here for the same reason... If he does have a T, you pretty much have to decide whether you're willing to go broke or not, against an average player, or an unknown, I would. Against a player that is "less aggressive", they would have to be considerably less aggressive for me to check/fold that turn. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |
