Bank account in country with bank secrecy
Hi
I hope this is the right place to ask - if not, please point me in the right direction, thanks. I am looking to get a new bank account outside my home country. Requirements: - Bank secrecy - Safe (ie. Uganda and Burma is out of the question) - Homebank access - VISA/Mastercard or a debitcard usable all around the world. I am Danish (the nation, not the pastry), 30yo, if that matters. I will be depositing like 10.000USD to start with - or more if nescessary. Any advice on where to go, what bank to select etc? Thanks in advance |

Re: Bank account in country with bank secrecy
I suggest FBME bank where you can get a dollar/euro/pound account with a Visa card; it's based in Cyprus.

Re: Bank account in country with bank secrecy
Swiss bank accounts are known for their secrecy and quality. also, Switzerland is known for being a very stable country. I've heard recently that bank accounts in Luxembourg are becoming popular because they are similar to Swiss Bank accounts but not as well known. I would check interest rates in both countries. hope this helps
