I also call vs an unknown. I am also likely to 3-bet preflop or check-raise this flop.

The last time I was in this situation, I called. Then I berated myself for not knowing that when a King flops, a much larger % of his stealing range has hit and therefore should have folded the turn. Before this post, I was thinking that I'll start folding the turn from here on out. Now I don't know. In my hand, player was a LAG and the flop was 3way and the turn was HU. (my ace was suited)

I think that calling that turn commits you to showdown vs an unknown. you aren't getting near the right price to draw and you have no reason to expect him to check behind

What if the river is a semi scare card like the J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? Is it still a call?

Insta call vs unknown for information.
Consider check raising this flop. |

fold out some better A's and pkt pairs or hands that have enough outs to profitably call until the river + you have the best hand sometimes.
If you are never c/r'ing in this spot I think you are giving them too easy of a time. Obviously you have to mix it up with c/c. |
