FTP 20r 6 max: icky AQ spot
Converter not working. This is the first time I've 3bet this villain pf and haven't really been 3betting pre at all in general. On the turn he's betting 3040 into a pot of 9480, which is... weird. And we've each got about 9k more behind.

Re: FTP 20r 6 max: icky AQ spot
Why 3-bet here? We have a nice hand in the absolute best position, why not just call and play some poker? (I could see a 3bet being justifiable when oop to raiser)
As played, this is a horrible spot, mainly because the pot got out of control due to our 3bet pf. Im thinking were behind here and unless you plan on repping the flush (not sure how succesful we can be with this with the size of the pot vs. our stack.) you should fold. |

Re: FTP 20r 6 max: icky AQ spot
Three bet here is OK assuming villain hasn't been nitty and you plan on obv. putting in a bet to a check on certain boards (easy example, K 4 2o).
I think AK/QQ comes over the top, so you can rule that out. 1010-JJ doesn't, so that's in his range. After turn, looks like you can narrow his range down to AJ, AA, KcQc 55 at the top, and weigh less pure bluffs where you are WB. Looks like an easy fold on the turn. The way I play the hand is even after I RR, I probably just check back on the flop, since I know that at this point he is either on a monster or he has a scared JJ-1010. I want him to try to bluff at the pot with those hands OR give me a call on the turn or the river. I also like calling here the more I think about it this deep, as the size of the pot compared to your stack is going to put you in an uncomfortable spot RE: getting value / getting away from worst hand more often than not.
