hmmm.. no reads or history sux right now. There's no line I really like here. At the table I'll prob just call and reevalute on the turn. You don't really have enough hands with him to really determine how passive he is, but still, looking at it away from the table I think a folds the best play.

Re: I get raised on a dry flop big, how to proceed with TPTK
I usually raise way bigger preflop, more like 7 than 5. By generally figuring 4bb raise preflop + 1 bb for each limper and 1 bb for being OOP.
As for how the hand has been played so far, i'd just call and probably get it in on the turn. If he has a hand like KQ or QJ he's more inclined to put more money in on later streets rather than if you just 3bet now. If he has a set so be it, i'm probably not folding here. |

Agree with above poster (AggJedi). Just call and crai turn. You're either crushing or crushed here, but folding sucks b/c there's a lot more Qx hands than 44/22.

Re: I get raised on a dry flop big, how to proceed with TPTK
If you call you are playing for stacks. You can't call and re-evaluate. If he is raising with something that you beat, he's probably willing to put the rest of it in on the turn.

preflop was bad. Should have raised more. I called
Turn comes an 8 villain pushes. I think its a call, any disagreements? |

Call, then c/c the rest of the way. We can already tell he's too loose preflop to let this go, and AF doesn't mean much yet.
