Preflop play.
20-40 live 9 handed. I have a TAG image and I have been showing down big hands. I am way up for the night.
UTG limps(horrible player, plays every hand, goes to the river 90% of the time. He will call any amount of bets preflop and on the flop most of the time with nothing. He plays extremely passively and typically needs the nuts to raise postflop. It is folded to the cutoff who raises(he is very tight preflop and typically I would give him much respect for his raise. However, he has adjusted his standards and has isolated raised on a couple occassions realizing just how bad UTG is. He has shown KJ offsuit and JT offsuit from what I have seen. Post flop he is straightforward and easy to read). I am on the button with KdQh. The blinds are very tight and underdefend especially when I raise. What is your play? |

Re: Preflop play.
I'd 3-bet.
And plan on betting pretty much every street until I get resistance. Yes, sometimes you are dominated by the TAG, but you'll win more than your share of pots where both of you miss. And KQ is good enough for showdown UI against a 100% limper. |

Re: Preflop play.
I agree with tessarji, use your winning image to your advantage here.
