I may bet the flop, but it's close.
With your read, that he is very aggressiv, a check on the turn is ok, but i would bet it. You get a lot of value from worse hands. I don't fear the paired board on the river, but I also would not raise the river, because no worse hand is calling you. |

Re: Is checking to 29.17/11.05/4 correct move?
Theres a full-ring forum.
I would bet flop, if he has a draw he's most likely coming along for the ride. If not then you weren't going to get any money out of him anyway. As played turn check is arguable, but I kind of like it since you dont want to scare him away since he would be afraid of the flush. River you have to bet if you want to win more money. And if you checked (luckily he bet again). WHY would you not raise. If you just call no more money is going into the pot after that. Raise it to $6 or something, if he folds he folds. There is absolutely no reason not to raise him. Edit: Regarding post above me I think that Td is calling here and maybe a straight, possibly trips. Villains stats are ok but they're not good enough for me to give him credit for a full house or a straight flush. I could be wrong but I would raise this river every time. |

u'll never stack him unless u check raise or lead somewhere. Losing value in unraise pot IMO.

Re: Is checking to 29.17/11.05/4 correct move?
bet somewhere, flop, turn and river are all candidates.
if you'd bet the flop(with flushdraw and straight draw), you could then check a diamond turn and let him rep the flush, on the river play for as much of his stack as you can. (If you bet the flop you can generally find out if he's got a set if he raises, then you can push the flush harder getting a caller on the turn) |

Re: Is checking to 29.17/11.05/4 correct move?
Please raise at some point in this hand. Betting into aggressive opponents is a good thing. DUCY?
You missed alot of value in this hand. If he had top pair on the flop he wasnt going anywhere. The problem with being passive against aggressive opponents is you let them do the work and they build the pot the way they want it. You will not get paid off on your big/solid hands, and you will bleed chips constantly against them trying to get paid off. FWIW a 4 for post flop aggression is not overly aggressive. |

There was not enough preflop action for a big pp. More likely he has a straight, flush or draws to them. You are ahead of all that junk so get the money in. There are plenty of chances for villain to have a good second best hand on that board. You are not behind much. I am raising the turn and fist pumping when we get it all in on the river. +EV |
