I still like a push w/out antes. 12-13BBs is another general cutoff for just pushing. When you have a stack like this you want to figure out if you want to get played back at. In this case, no. However, if we have something like AQ or TT we want them to try and resteal w/ lesser holdings.

You can keep 10BB as a "strict line" as you say, just change your view of reality a bit and it's all good...
If you raise and find yourself forced to fold you are now <10BB. So in this situation 12BBs is a raise bound virtual 10BB, and shoving is fine. Or something like that... |
