PL OH MTT: Flopped 999 on draw-heavy board; did I play it right?
Ignore my preflop action, because I know it was weak. Try and focus advice on the post-flop play please.
I thought that it was quite likely that my 9s were ahead, but was obviously concerned about the hearts and the straight draws with the 9-10 and A-10. Basically, any heart, 8, T, J, Q, K, or A was going to scare the bajeebers out of me. Thankfully the 3d (A.K.A. "Blank") hit on the turn and I happily shoved the rest of my chips. (Sry, I've never used the HH Converter before and can not get it to work. I'll practice for the future.) Ok, here's the hand--did I play it right? Re: PL OH MTT: Flopped 999 on draw-heavy board; did I play it right?
why are u asking?
u wouldnt even play another way you pot the flop (very nice) and all calls all in in the turn also fine, drawers still call anyway or you asking us should you pot the preflop? ) |

Re: PL OH MTT: Flopped 999 on draw-heavy board; did I play it right?
I am asking because I really am curious.
I enjoy PL OH but rarely play it, so do not know how to play well. I guess that I am also asking what the chances are that I'm beat on the flop with that many players preflop. I mean, I THOUGHT I played the hand well, but I wanted to be certain. Thanks for the response alavet, appreciate it. -eroc |

Very standard on all streets. Villain almost never has top set here, and if you're beat you have flush outs plus a gutshot.
