Splitting this off from the generic offseason discussion thread as I think there will be lots of interest.
The premier league has turned into the Vegas Summer League. Both Durant and Oden will be there, in addition to Yi, Conley, Green, Wright and others. Note that all Vegas Summer League games will be available on NBATV, and on the NBA.com website. The first days games are tape delayed, the rest will be live. I'll be there on opening day which includes some great matchups. Seattle vs. Dallas, China vs. Memphis and the big one, Portland vs. Boston. The other leagues are the Rocky Mountain Review and the Pepsi Pro Summer League . My beloved Bulls will play in each of those with a lineup including all 3 picks from this year as well as Tyrus and Thabo. It'll be good to get a glimpse of who is ready and who isn't. |

Heads up to Boston area folk: FSN is showing all Boston games.
I'm really pissed I absolutely HAVE to work tomorrow. Like I can't even pull a cheesy "work from home" like most a-holes here. I would love to catch the Boston Portland game. Any idea if there will be replays? Maybe On-Demand? |

Solid 5-17 shooting for Durant...I guess he might be a little rusty shooting, but that doesn't really makeup for only grabbing one board. Anyone watch or are we waiting for a report from clarkmeister?

In-between games summary. Typos due to lame blackberry keyboard.
Durant looks so skinny. Plays like I remember from college. Floats around, waits for the ball. Still somehow scored 18. Cheats on D a lot, but has inconsistent motivation on that end of the floor. Also, while he got off his shot at will on Maurice Ager, he won't always have such a favorable matchup. Jeff green played a lot of 4. Looked decent, but faded. Has the body to play 4 if need be, ut clearly would rather play 3. Still, exceeded my expectations. Lost on D a few times. Fazekas played ok for a 2nd rounder. Everyone should watch the first half of China vs Memphis. Super entertaining with some great dunks. Yi kept fouling but clearly is the real deal. Very refined offensive arsenal. Would be shocked if he was really 19 years old but if so has sick upside. He had a slow start. Alexander johnson dunked on him and layed his nuts on Yi's face for 3 seconds, then blocked Yi on the other end. Amazingly, Yi returned the favor with a block-nasty dunk sequence later in the half. Rudy Gay looked awesome Kinsey for Memphis looked ok. Lowry looked great. Better than Conley, who was a disappointment and had trouble beating guys off the dribble, which he was able to do at will at tOSU. Portland and Boston on deck. Father time in the hizzy. |

Saw Rudy Gay had like 6 highlight dunks. Some of them were just pure sickness.
I also think the PG spot in Memphis is Lowry's to lose. |
