2 folds, Hero raises to $3.50, BTN raises to $12.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $8.50

Flop: ($25.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)

Villain is 42it and is a tight player 16/12ish I think.

Fine against a bad player. 40 is better imo. He will fold the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here most of the time

Is this because he knows the villain? Or against an unknown too? I can't fold the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here against an unknown...

it obviously depends on your image. If you were thrown around lately i would fake block bet, if u were owning the table push, If standard i would make a small value bet for around 30-40 to be called by Qc or sth.

oh and..

I like betting 25, making it look like a blocking bet, letting him think he has FE, and he will still shove over your bet if he has the A of clubs.

This seems like an ideal river to fake-block, like $20.

I doubt 42it every shoves over a fake blocker here. Just bet like 40 and hope for the best.

You don't become mod by folding the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
