Re: 99 on low board facing resitance vs LAG
I think by just calling on flop you have to get it in on turn? If you fold turn you should be folding flop I think. What range do you put villain on which youre behind to on turn but not flop?

Re: 99 on low board facing resitance vs LAG
I hate these situations. If you shove flop you're not getting called by a hand you beat. If you call and he bets strong on the turn it's very likely you're behind and you'll probably have to fold. If you just fold flop it seems weak. Don't really have any good advice on what to do. Generally I would fold to the c/r as it's pretty strong even though you'll be ahead of a significant part of his range. Btw do you always raise so much preflop?

Re: 99 on low board facing resitance vs LAG
What do we put villain on? He is lag, so couldn't this be something like K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or like 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] that now hit top pair on turn? I don't really see a 3 here, wouldn't he 3-bet pf with JJ+?

He's repping a draw. mostly I would get it in vs a laggy player.
5xbb pre? Huh? |

Re: 99 on low board facing resitance vs LAG
This is a tough situation. I think in the heat of the game I would play this hand the same.
Some may say that you should fold the flop, but I think in your shoes they would'nt. |

Re: 99 on low board facing resitance vs LAG
don't know whats up with the 5x pre.. I usually do the 4+1 per limper.
How would you play the hand if you hold QQ instaid? |
