$11 Level 1 QQ, can I beat anything here?
All I know about villain are his SharkScope stats - 16% ROI over 1,300+ tourneys, avg. stake of $10. His all-in seemed to scream KK+ or trips and afraid of the straight. Anyone disagree?

His range is much bigger than that, for sure.
I call. I also reraise t300 preflop and call a push. |

Really? If it wasn't level 1, I would gladly call the push, but is it really worth the risk on the second hand of the SNG?
I try not to put too much weight into SharkScope, but the stats do suggest he is a decent player. Why would he be pushing into such a small pot on that board if he can't beat a pair of Queens? Reraising preflop definitely would have made this easier. |

Oh sorry... that was a dash, not a negative sign. His ROI is 16% (positive). If it was negative, I would have instacalled.

Re: $11 Level 1 QQ, can I beat anything here?
Seems like too good of a player to be raising mediocre hands like J10 this early, so I would say trips or a higher PP afraid of a straight draw. I would also probably call becuase I am stubborn.

I like the fold but why are we flatting preflop?

Re: $11 Level 1 QQ, can I beat anything here?
In my opinion this decision could have been a lot easier if we defined the oponents hand with a decent rr preflop. Now you are in a tough spot but with an overpair and a straight draw it is hard to lay down. I would fold and pay more attention, get some reads and learn a lesson here that you need to rr these high pocket pairs to define your hand. You have position but it does you no good when he is the aggressor and first to act. In his spot I go all in with alot of hands that you have beat, mostly because with a pot that size he does not want a call with that bet. At the level you are playing a 16% roi while it is positive is not that impressive either so this is toooooo close to call.

I'd play the exact same way, QQ early vs a known solid player isn't exactly exciting.

AKs seems much more likely than trips or the overpair. I think this would be really close between calling and folding.
