super nits
i have a pt db of 350k hands... and i'm surprised to see that i dont have one player with more than 500 hands who's vpip is <10...
cant these 8/6/2.5 guys grind out 2 or 3 BB/100 at like 1/2NL? or is it impossible to win playing that style? |

Re: super nits
The inability of 8/6/2.5 players to win isn't the reason there aren't many of them. It is because playing 8/6 is extremely boring and more profit could be made getting a clue and getting the VPIP into double digits.

Re: super nits
9tabling playing like that wouldnt be that boring.. and 9tabling 1/2NL for 3bb/100 is over $100/hr..
i dunno.. just curious if anyone plays super nit and can take out 3bb/100 long term.. (last 50k hands i'm 24/18/3 fwiw.) |

Re: super nits
I dunno. I can't imagine playing 8/6 to be profitable at all. I guess maybe if you used great table selection.

Re: super nits
come to FR. 8/6 is incredibly common, and most of them are (small) winners in my db.
