$330 live tourney
Blinds 200/400 50 ante, full 10 person table. Starting stacks were 10000 about 3 hours ago, we now have 6000 stack after running bad in a huge PF flip (if we win that we are at 25k). Just got moved to this table 3 hands ago and have no reads on anybody.
UTG+1 raises to 1500, all fold to hero on button who sees 88. Push or fold. The average stack at this point was 18k i think, is 88 here good enough to try to double up, do we have FE vs an EP raiser? I guess what im asking is If you KNEW UTG+1 had AKs or worse and you werent in an 80/20, would you take the risk here and gamble or wait for a better spot |

Re: $330 live tourney
lol if you knew your opponent had AKs you'd have to be braindead not to go allin. In any case it's probably just a fold.

Re: $330 live tourney
yea i guess that was worded poorly. So readless its just a muck, if so at what point would you push. Are 9s good enough?

[/ QUOTE ] Probably Tens, assuming they are raising stuff like 88, AQ, AJs etc which they probably are. I think I'd fold 99. I think there are situations like this where folding tens would be fine also, but probably here I would just go with them. I'm sure its close though. |

Muck.. People are usually pretty strong here. 99 is close but I think I muck it also.
