Re: (NL10) flush against possible boat
SB is so short stacked that I'd just push the flop when he raises me.
So, given the size of his stack, push the flop. On the turn, I don't know how you can fold for the little that he has left unless he flips his full house over and shows it to you. So, the question is whether it is best to check/call to let some worse hands bet, or whether it is best to open push - in which case only better hands will probably call unless he is prone to over playing TP w/ 1-card flush draws. Edit: Oh, and depending on the nature of the game and your image, this type of playable-but-sub-premium hand is perfect for making a big raise preflop in an effort to steal from all the limpers. This move is best a weak-tight games and might not work at microlimits. NLHETAP has a blurb on this play, and T6s might be a good candidate for it. |

Re: (NL10) flush against possible boat
I 3bet flop PSR or shove most of the time as ZOMG we got a FD+GSSD. As played I lead turn and fold to a raise but it got ugly here.

With Villain this short, have you really got odds to just call to see the turn? If you whiff, you can't call a push, and if you hit you haven't got the biggest implied odds here. I just push the flop, but if you don't like that, i think folding is better than calling for the reasons above. As played i push the turn |

Aren't we like 80BB deep effstacks? Is that so short really?

Re: (NL10) flush against possible boat
sorry, was looking at SB's stack, not the CO. You're right, bet/fold turn as played
