Multi Site crash overview
Could someone please explain a little better what may be happening here. It seems to me that these sites obviously have a lot more to loose then any players do. They have been growing ever since they opened and they for the most part have kept their software and capacity ahead of their growth. All these sites from past experience will do everything possible to stay ahead of issues like this.
So my overall question's are 1. Why is this happening? 2. What should we expect in the short and long runs? 3. Are their better policies that could be adopted by sites in resolving the issues resulting from these crashes? 4. Are we even asking the right questions? 5. Is question #4 deep or just the ramblings of a donkeys mind? |

Re: Multi Site crash overview
The internets is a series of tubes. When one of the tubes gets clogged up, then nothing can get thru. Al Gore needs to buy some more tubes that are bigger.

Nah--someone gave the committee that is writing the Regs. a computer and they are just testing out their upcoming rules.

Re: Multi Site crash overview
I'll post my very limited knowledge.
From what I understand it is not a server problem. The server's are fine. Some problem with the Canadian ISP which the sites use, which may or may not be Verizon. What the problem is I have no idea. |
