Party 25NL. KK OOP facing ugly flop
Villain is 38/37/4.37, is capable of calling a large pre-flop bet with low SCs or low PPs, and will definitely over bet the flop if I check to him.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) Hero ($43.96) UTG ($4.69) MP ($35.85) CO ($25.85) Button ($103.67) SB ($24.80) Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K. Re: Party 25NL. KK OOP facing ugly flop
c/f is fine
so is c/r all in if he is super aggro and will call pf w/ little and fire the flop light you probably can fold out a fair amount of rando hands, get it in occassionally vs hearts, and you still generally have 5-6 outs. but yeah defaults gotta be c/f. |

Re: Party 25NL. KK OOP facing ugly flop
Why aren't we cbetting here? Villian is 38/37. He'd def rr w/ JJ+ and AQ+. Only hand that's beating us is AT-. I'd much rather fold out 22-99 or some connectors than risk getting bluffed off the hand against this villian.

Re: Party 25NL. KK OOP facing ugly flop
Villain has been re-raising everyone at the table so often that its clear that he doesn't need cards to do it. If I c-bet he's re-raising pot no matter what, just to make sure i've got a set. I think Baluga is correct in saying that my only chance to take the pot is to c/r allin, but i'm afraid my swingers just don't hang that low.

He's reraising flop no matter what JUST to make sure you got a set even though you were the aggressor preflop? That doesn't make much sense to me. I think you're giving up A LOT if you're check-folding the flop against this super aggressive/loose villian. If he's really going to push everything, you might as well bet to induce bluff then push cuz your KK is ahead here against his random range. I do not see how checking is better than betting on this flop. |
