Buses from Long Island to Atlantic City
Does anyone have a good website where you can look up bus schedules that go to Atlantic City. Looking for some sort of charter that leaves from Nassau County and goes to Atlantic City.
I was trying to get on Harran's website since I think they had charters that went from LI, but it seems their website has been down for the past few weeks. TIA |

Re: Buses from Long Island to Atlantic City
One question... how long are these trips for? I see departure times... but I see no return times. How long can you stay down there? I like the night owl schedules.

Re: Buses from Long Island to Atlantic City
These trips are terrible. I took a bus from LI one time and hated it. 4-5 hours each way because we had to stop at 5-10 places on the island to pick up people.

Re: Buses from Long Island to Atlantic City
Harran's number is 631-491-9100, and it does look like their web site is down. I have never taken these buses, but I agree you probably want to take the latest departure the furthest West so you don't have to make lots of stops.
Instead I took the Orient SeaJet ferry and shuttle to Foxwoods. Link and click "casinos". -Tom |

Re: Buses from Long Island to Atlantic City
I was just at Foxwoods on Sunday and took the overnight Orient SeaJet. Was ok. But man that boat ride back in the morning was something else. Talk about some rough waters. LOL
I am talking to someone from Classic Coach. She said one of the last stops on one of the routes is Wantagh which is right by my house. Not bad if thats the last stop and it goes right to AC. But she said the bus only stays at AC for six hours. Kind of a bummer (only 6 hours). |

[/ QUOTE ] if you'd rather stay over, find out when the return trips are each day and ask if you can go back at the same time on a DIFFERENT day. roundtrip tickets for greyhound buses from NYC usually allow up to 4 days between arrival and departure (and you could probably get away with longer if need be). i don't see any reason why they wouldn't honor something like that. it's not like they have reserve seats or do headcounts on board. |
