Jan 1, 2007 is supposed to mark the day of NL returning to Lucky Chances ( a Bay Area casino). If you happen to have frequented LC could you describe the games there? I read that the 2/3/5 game may remain spread limit, or that there may be two separate games. Also, the 10/10/20 game may return although it's rake will be higher then it previously was.

Yeh the 10/10/20 is coming back (too bad its too big for me), I dont know what the deal with the 2/3/5 is. What I really want is a 5/5/10 or a 10/20.

I played in the 2-3-5 spread limit last night. Lucky Chances kept the 1-1-2 and the 2-3-5 games the same -- with a $200 per bet max. I understand that the 10-10-20 NL (no per bet max) is being spread on M, W and F.

The 10/10/20 is $2000 min buyin now, $40 to go, you can kill for $40 from anywhere (making it $80 to go). Rake is $12 every FORTY minutes. So actually cheaper than when it was 5/5/10 at AJ's, but more expensive than before the game moved to AJ's IIRC. Looks like most non-regulars are buying in for the minimum. They had 2 games from 8PM to about 2AM last night then the must-move broke. They should have 3 games this Friday.

Well the game was monsterous but it was full of a lot of donks. I think im going to have to hit up the Lucky Derby 10/20, Bellagio 10/20, and Commerece 10/20 first though. Just didnt feel really happy when they kept making it 80 to go.

Thanks for the information and reports guys, it is much apreciated. What about their shuffle machines though? The last time I was there they were incorporating some in but only to tables near the wall.

No shuffle machines. Those seem to be restricted to the pot-raked games.

Thanks for the information and reports guys, it is much apreciated. What about their shuffle machines though? The last time I was there they were incorporating some in but only to tables near the wall. [/ QUOTE ] I stopped by on January 1 around 3PM to both Artichokes and Lucky Chances. One main game, no must move. The old gang from Artichokes transplanted there: John, Sam, Sirus, Marcus, etc. AJs game appears dead. John said "the game is HERE now." I was number 7 on list when I called in, but the list dwindled to me as number one, but I didn't like the line up, especially after the action maker--Marcus left. I left as well. I asked the floor specificially about the shuffle masters being in certain games and not in others. He said they were (to my surprise) only used in 6 tables as of now, and they are tables along the wall where they are certain that the tables will stay put. He said eventually (in the near future) every table will have shufflemaster installed, but they have to make sure they have the layout of the tables the way they want it before installing them everywhere.
